This innovative collection of CDs, compiled by Roei Amit for the French film and music company MK2, brings together outstanding cinema soundtracks from around the world. Each compilation is regionally themed and features distinctive and original music from well-known and cult feature films and documentaries.

137 tracks on eight CDs explore the diversity of music to be found in world cinema Ė from Almodóvarís Hable con ella and Wim Wendersí Lisbon Story to Wong Kar Waiís In The Mood For Love and Mira Nairís Monsoon Wedding.

Featured artists and composers include Gotan Project, Gilberto Gil, Natacha Atlas, Lalo Schifrin, Madredeus, Goran Bregovic, Tan Dun, Cheikh Lô, Salif Keita, Wasis Diop, Cesaria Evora, Lata Mangeshkar and Michael Danna.
